DROBTAR Sp. z o.o. is a Polish company with over 20 years of experience. It is long enough to know almost everything about poultry but still too short to lose enthusiasm for what we do. That is why we get involved into new projects willingly and we are open to new technologies. We specialize in cutting and packaging poultry meat, mainly chicken and turkey. Our priority is to provide high-quality products.

Drobtar - siedziba firmy
The beginnings of the company go back to 1991 when a small plant directed at hand production was founded. Throughout the next years we performed some modernization activities: we bought new machines, improved production technology and significantly expanded our assortment. In 1997 we set up modern production halls and cold stores in Nowe Żukowice near Tarnów. It allowed us to increase productivity and raise the standard of our products at the same time.
Since 2006 we have persued an active sales policy to EU market. Meeting our customers’ expectations, in 2014 we introduced pork as well as poultry cold meats manufactured according to traditional recipes into our offer. Only high-quality raw materials coming from reputable Polish slaughterhouses are used to manufacture our products. Why is it worth eating poultry meat?
Poultry meat is low in calories and rich in proteins. It is a great source of zinc, which is essential to our immune system, as well as vitamins: PP that helps to keep the nervous and digestive systems work properly, and B12 which affects DNA synthesis and the transport of folic acid into cells.
It is recommended as a basic ingredient of food for kids, people on a diet and those living an active life.
What is the healthiest meat?
Healthy meat is most of all lean and tender. Such is poultry and veal which contain valuable, easily-absorbed protein and low amount of harmful fat.
How to ‘spice-up’ poultry?
Poultry meat tastes best when seasoned with the following herbs: savory, tarragon, black pepper, rosemary, thyme, marjoram, caraway seeds and paprika.
How to make a roasted chicken juicy and aromatic?
The best idea is to put chicken into a marinade based on olive oil, wine and yoghurt with spices. Meat marinated in this way will be more tender and juicy. Additionally, seasoned and dredged meat may be pan-fried for a while. It causes the coagulation of proteins and meat does not become juiceless while roasting.
How to pound a chicken breast without breaking it apart?
The best and the easiest way is to cover the pieces of meat with a plastic food wrap before pounding.
How to store poultry meat?
Raw meat should be refrigerated without a packaging, away from diary and bakings up to two days. Frozen poultry, on the other hand, should be put into a freezer immediately.
The best way to defrost meat is to leave it in a cool place, i.e in a refrigerator overnight.
Is chicken good for a barbecue?
Sure! It is the most popular meat that is grilled. Chicken fillets, legs and wings are most frequently cooked by the amateurs of barbecues. Chicken should be grilled under a metal bowl in order to be perfectly juicy and tender. It is also recommended to pour the marinade, beer or wine over the chicken.
